Add Dye & Durham login details into Encompass

When you login to Encompass using the direct URL, Encompass verifies your Dye & Durham login details, and uses these details to place your orders.

When you login to Encompass from the Dye & Durham website, a session token is passed to Encompass and these tokens are used to place orders. The Dye & Durham session tokens expire after 90 minutes.

If you attempt to run a search after a token has expired, you will be asked to update your Dye & Durham login details (Save embedded credentials). 

Save embedded credentials

1. In the Encompass menu, open Settings 
2. Click on Information Providers
3. Click to edit

4. Enter your Search Manager Username and Password

5. Click Validate credentials. Encompass will check the details with Dye & Durham and indicate the result with a tick

6. Click Save

If an Encompass user changes their password within Search Manager, the user will be prompted to save their details when next they place an order (run a search).
